Search Condos by Monthly Payment

How much condo can you really afford?

Most buyers search by price and guess. Start with the monthly payment range you're comfortable with instead. We'll show the price range it covers and every Okanagan condo that fits, ranked by its true monthly cost including strata fees.

    Common questions

How much condo can I afford with a $3,000 monthly payment?

It depends on your down payment, interest rate and the condo's strata fee. Enter your budget above to see the price range it covers and every Okanagan condo whose total monthly cost fits.

Why are strata fees included in the monthly cost?

Strata fees are paid every month on top of the mortgage, and they vary a lot between buildings. A cheaper condo with a high strata fee can cost more each month than a pricier one with a low fee, so results are ranked by the total.

What is the minimum down payment for a condo in Canada?

5% of the first $500,000 and 10% of the portion from $500,000 to $1.5 million. Homes priced at $1.5 million or more need at least 20% down. With less than 20% down, CMHC mortgage insurance is added to the loan.

Is this payment estimate financial advice?

No. The payment search is for information purposes only and does not constitute professional mortgage, financial or real estate advice. Please confirm your numbers with a licensed mortgage professional.
